What friends are for

These are all the things I do wrong in RuneScape.

Slayer
- no super/extreme pots
- no piety/turmoil
- no cannon
- no Guthan's armor
- don't complete clues ASAP
- no combat familiars

Agility
- don't run at Ape Atoll

Mining
- don't drop ores

Construction
- no servant
- no oak doors

Runecrafting
- no graahking
- no abyssal minion
- don't bank at ZMI
- use all pouches

Farming
- no daily herbs runs

Hunter
- no red chins

Dungeoneering
- don't rush
- don't run 5:5 larges
- kill everything except dino cows
- check every room
- haven't switched to 2h

ION, I'm back to slaying, trying to get in 3 tasks per day. I'm going to keep this up until one of two things happens: getting an effigy drop or end of the month.

  1. No Guthan's/clue scrolls is definitely NOT wrong. They slow you down a lot. Guthan's Spear is a horrible weapon and you're usually better off with food if you have a half-decent defense level rather than switching to crappy gear. And clue scrolls, at least in their current form, are a waste of time for rewards that give no xp and are usually worse than the drops you'd get doing another slayer task instead.

Red chins aren't the best thing to hunt either. Grenwalls are better, and you can make an argument for implings (which are a perfectly reasonable ~30-40k xp/hr with amazing profit).

Walking instead of running while training agility, though, that's one that puzzles me.

  2. Really like this article. Permission to wholesaley quote (with proper linkage, of course) in my blog?

  3. Don't conform to conventional Scaping methodology. Fight the power!
